Combustion Devices

Our office is at 933/2 in Basai Darapur, right on the Najafgarh Road. We tell most people to just look for the Ramesh Nagar Metro Station, as we aren't too far from there. Combustion Devices is a bit of a mix between an office and a workshop. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find people wearing suits and ties. Most of us are in work clothes because we’re often handling parts or checking on equipment. It’s a busy road outside, so there’s always the sound of horns and engines in the background while we’re working. We’ve been here a while and the neighborhood knows us. We don’t spend money on big ads or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people just knowing what we do. It’s a lot of technical talk and looking at diagrams. Sometimes the office gets a bit cluttered with papers and samples, but we know where the important stuff is kept. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a shiny lobby. We just want to make sure the devices we handle are working like they’re supposed to. We take our lunch breaks together and talk about regular stuff, not just work. It’s a decent way to spend the day. We try to be helpful when someone calls with a problem, even if it takes a while to explain the solution. We just keep at it, day in and day out, making sure things are done right before we lock up the gate.
