Tara Chand & Sons

Mayapuri is a loud place, full of heavy machinery and trucks, so you have to climb up to the 2nd floor to find Tara Chand & Sons. We are in Phase-II, right near the police station, which is a good landmark because people always get lost in these industrial lanes. The building is old and the stairs are steep, which makes moving heavy items quite a chore. We don't have any polished lobby or air-conditioned waiting room. It is just a workspace where the family gets together to manage the business. Sometimes the noise from the street is so loud we have to shout to be heard over the phone. We have piles of paperwork that never seem to go away and shelves that are probably a bit too full. My sons and I spend most of our time here, arguing about where things should go or how to handle the next shipment. It is a very industrial atmosphere with metal sounds and the smell of oil from the neighboring units. We’ve been here long enough that the local shopkeepers know us by sight. We don't spend much on making the place look pretty because the work is what matters most to us. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in the middle of a mess, but we know exactly where everything is. It’s just a regular family-run spot in a busy part of Delhi.
