We are located on the fourth floor of 3/10 in the Kirti Nagar Industrial Area. Being in Kirti Nagar means we are surrounded by workshops and trucks all day long. The elevator in this building is a bit temperamental, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we’d like. Our space is basically a big warehouse with some partitioned offices at one end. It’s an industrial area, so there is always the sound of saws or hammers coming from somewhere nearby. We deal with various goods, and the floor is usually covered with pallets and shrink wrap. It gets really hot up here on the top floor during the summer months, and the tin roof doesn’t help much. We have a small fridge for cold water and a desk where we handle all the shipping documents. It’s not a place where customers come to hang out; it’s strictly for business. Most of our time is spent on the phone or checking the latest shipments that come in from the freight elevators. We keep things pretty simple. There are no fancy decorations on the walls, just a few calendars and some clipboards with task lists. It’s a lot of manual work, moving things around and making sure the inventory matches the books. We just stay focused on the daily grind.
