We are Sumeru Agro Harvest Exports and we work out of Janakpuri in New Delhi. Our specific address is B3A/8C. Janakpuri is a big residential area, but we’ve got our office set up here to handle all our agro-export business. We deal with things like crops and harvests, which means we are often talking to people in rural areas or at the ports. Our office is pretty basic. It has some desks, some samples of grain or whatever we are exporting at the time, and a lot of logbooks. We aren't corporate types in suits. We are more comfortable talking about weather patterns and shipping schedules. It’s a practical business that relies on the seasons. Sometimes things are slow, and other times we are working around the clock to get a harvest shipped out. We don’t use flashy language or make big promises. We just try to get the produce from the farm to where it needs to go. The staff here knows the agro market well. We’ve been at this Janakpuri location for a while now and we like the neighborhood. It’s easy for people to find us. We just focus on the task and try to keep things moving. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking on trucks, but that’s the reality of the agro business. We keep some samples in jars on the shelf to check quality occasionally.
