Rajendra Place is full of these tall buildings and 705 is where we stay. Sri P L Trading Corporation is on the seventh floor, so we spend a lot of time waiting for the elevators to arrive. It is a different world up here compared to the ground level. It’s a bit quieter, but you can still hear the city if you open the window. Our office isn’t very big. It’s got a couple of desks, some old filing cabinets that don't close right, and a few chairs for when people stop by to talk business. We handle a lot of paperwork and phone calls throughout the day. The carpet is a bit worn out in the corners. It’s just a standard trading setup without any of the fancy decorations you see in the newer offices. We get our tea from the guy downstairs who brings it up in a wire carrier. Most of our day is spent looking at lists and making sure the numbers match up at the end of the shift. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift breaks down, which happens sometimes. We just keep the files moving and try to stay on top of the schedule. There isn't much to say about it other than it’s where we do our daily business. It is a regular job in a regular office building. We don't put on any airs about what we do.
