Slatch Engineering

We’ve been here in Mayapuri Phase-2 at F-119 for a good while now. It’s a busy spot, mostly loud with the sound of machines and people moving things around all day. The industrial area is always crowded, so you get used to the noise and the dust fairly quickly. Our workshop isn't anything fancy to look at, just a place where we get the engineering work done and keep things moving. Some days the heat in the shop is a bit much, but that’s just how it is when you’re working with metal and tools. We spend a lot of time looking at drawings and making sure the parts fit like they’re supposed to. It’s mostly just us and a few guys who have been here for years. Sometimes people drop by looking for parts or asking if we can fix something specific, and we just see what we can do. The tea stall around the corner is where we usually end up when things slow down for a bit. There’s always trucks loading or unloading somewhere nearby, blocking the road for a few minutes, which is just part of the daily routine in Mayapuri. We don’t spend much time on fancy office work because the real stuff happens on the floor with the grease and the lathes. It’s a practical kind of life, focused on the metal in front of us.
