Shri Guru Nanak Electrical Engg. Works

Our little shop is located at D-87 in Sudershan Park, which is right near the Tyagi Dharmshala. It's a landmark most people around this part of town know pretty well. If you are looking for us, just keep an eye out for the stacks of electrical parts and motors near the door. Shri Guru Nanak Electrical Engg. Works has been operating out of this same space for many years now. It is a small place, but we somehow manage to fit all the tools and parts we need inside. Most of our mornings start with us moving things around just so we have enough floor space to work on the big motors or the wiring projects that came in the night before. We handle all sorts of electrical engineering repairs and maintenance. A lot of the time, the floor is covered in bits of copper wire or old components that we've pulled out of broken machines. It gets noisy sometimes because of the testing equipment, but that's just part of the life in a real workshop. We aren't big on using fancy words or marketing ourselves. We just listen to what’s wrong with the equipment and then try to find a practical way to fix it. Being so close to the Dharmshala means there is always a crowd of people walking by. We know most of the neighbors and the guy who runs the local tea stall. Sometimes we end up staying quite late when a job is particularly stubborn or difficult. We don't have a big marketing department or anything polished like that. It’s just a few of us who know our way around a circuit board and a heavy motor. We take the work as it comes and try to be honest with everyone about what can actually be fixed.
