H-Space Machinery Co is over at 1/47, Whs in Kirti Nagar. If you know the area, you know it’s one of the busiest places for furniture and heavy goods. Our warehouse is quite large with high ceilings, but it’s still filled to the brim with various types of machinery. It’s a bit dark inside because the windows are high up and covered in grime from the street. We have a lot of heavy lifting to do, so there is usually a forklift moving around or someone using a trolley. The air always has a bit of a metallic smell to it. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some old safety posters and a clock that doesn't always show the right time. Our office is just a partitioned area with some plywood walls where we handle the paperwork. Kirti Nagar traffic is a nightmare, so we try to get our loading and unloading done very early in the morning. Sometimes we just sit on the crates and have our lunch while talking about the work for the day. It’s a very practical environment where the focus is just on moving the machines and making sure the orders are correct. We aren't big on formalities; we just work in our overalls and get things done. The metal shutters are heavy and take two of us to pull down at the end of the shift. It’s a solid, honest place to work.
