Shardar Patel Hospital

Shardar Patel Hospital is located over in the Patel Nagar Colony, and we are part of the government MCD system in East Delhi. Because we are an MCD hospital, we stay very busy every day with people coming in from all over the East Delhi area. It’s a local place that has been serving the Patel Nagar Colony for quite a long time. We don't have fancy lobbies or expensive decorations; it’s a functional building meant for providing healthcare to the public. There are always a lot of people in the hallways and doctors moving between wards. We handle everything from basic checkups to more serious medical situations that the local residents bring to us. Working in a government facility in East Delhi means things can get a bit chaotic at times, but we just do our best to manage the flow of patients. We don't have any big marketing slogans; we are just here to do the work that needs to be done. Most of the people who come here live in the colony or close by, so they can just walk or take a short rickshaw ride to get to us. It’s a place where we see a lot of the same faces from the neighborhood. We just keep our heads down and focus on helping the patients who need medical attention. It’s not a glamorous job, but it is important for the community here in East Patel. We just keep the doors open and do our part every day in this part of town.
