Sangem Machine Tools

We have been running Sangem Machine Tools out of Building No 43/A for quite a while now. It is tucked into the A/J Block of Shalimar Bagh, which is a busy little corner. The shop is usually full of heavy equipment and various tools scattered around. It is not the cleanest place in the world because metal work tends to be greasy. We spend most of our mornings moving heavy parts and checking the inventory. People come in looking for specific bolts or lathe parts that they cannot find elsewhere. The heat in the summer makes the whole workshop feel like an oven, so we keep the fans going at full speed. My hands are almost always stained with oil, but that is just part of the job here. We do not have a fancy showroom or a receptionist to greet you. Usually, you will just find one of us sitting at the old wooden desk in the back. The street outside is always crowded with delivery rickshaws and people rushing by. Sometimes we lose track of time while helping a customer find exactly what they need. We have seen a lot of businesses in Shalimar Bagh come and go, but we just keep doing our thing. It is steady work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. We do not use any big marketing tactics. Most folks find us just by walking past or hearing about us from a neighbor.
