Mec Tech Machines & Tools

Our shop is tucked away at 215 on the first floor in Extension 4. Being in Block-B of Nangloi means there is always traffic and people moving around. It can be a bit hard to find the stairs the first time but once you are up here it is just a regular workspace. We have different tools and machines scattered around the room. It is not organized like a showroom because we actually use everything. Some days it is very loud and other days we are just sitting there checking measurements. The fan in the corner makes a clicking sound but it keeps the air moving in the Nangloi heat. We spend a lot of time looking at metal pieces and making sure the machines are running okay. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to handle the equipment. We drink a lot of chai while we talk about the jobs for the week. People from the area stop by to ask for specific tools or just to see if we can fix something. We don't promise things we can't do. If it's a tool we have, we show it. If we are working on a machine, we finish it. That is just how the day goes for us at Mec Tech Machines & Tools. It is a simple life in a busy part of town. We stay busy enough without needing to shout about it. Every day is just about getting through the list.
