You can find us at D-94 in the Mayapuri Industrial Area, Phase 2. It's a standard industrial plot where we keep our equipment. I run the place with a couple of guys I've known for years. We aren't really into the whole professional corporate thing; we just know how to operate the cranes. Most days start early, around 7 AM, to beat the worst of the traffic. The heat in Mayapuri can be brutal during the summer, but the work doesn't stop. We mostly handle heavy lifting for the local workshops. It's repetitive work, but it pays the bills and keeps us busy. The machines need a lot of maintenance because the dust around here is constant. I spend a lot of time on the phone coordinating where the next job is. We don't have a fancy logo or a marketing team. It’s just us and the trucks. Sometimes a job takes longer than we thought because of a broken part or a tight space, but we stay until it’s done. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go in Phase 2, but we’ve managed to stay put. It's not the easiest way to make a living, but it's what we know. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay out of trouble. It’s noisy and dusty, but it’s our yard.
