We’ve got our shop at 85 Mayapuri Industrial Area, right in Phase II. It’s a busy part of Delhi, and there is always noise from the other factories nearby. I started this place because I liked working with heavy machinery. My son helps me out now with the paperwork, but I still prefer being out with the cranes. The machines are old but they still work fine as long as you treat them right. We mostly work with the local manufacturers who need to move heavy parts around. The roads in Phase II can be a nightmare with all the trucks, so we've learned to be patient. We don't really have a front office, just a small room with a desk and some old chairs where we drink tea. It’s a dirty job, and we’re usually covered in grease by noon. People know us as the guys who don't talk much but get the work finished. We've been in this same spot for a long time. I remember when there weren't as many buildings here. Now it's crowded, but we still manage to find space for our gear. We just do the work as it comes in. There’s no big secret to it, just showing up on time and knowing how the equipment handles. Sometimes we stay late when a job gets complicated, but that’s just part of the deal.
