Our office is over in the Plaza2 building in Masjid Moth, right on the third floor. It’s a bit of a trek up if the lift is being slow, but we’re used to it. We spend a lot of time dealing with crane schedules and talking to contractors who need heavy lifting done. South Extn and Greater Kailash are busy parts of town, so getting equipment moved around takes a lot of planning and some patience. We have maps and schedules pinned up all over the walls. It’s not a quiet place because there’s always someone on a radio or a mobile phone talking to a driver. We’ve had some of these cranes for a long time and we know exactly what they can and can’t do. Sometimes the weather messes up our plans, but we just wait it out and start again the next morning. The team here isn't into big fancy talks. We just focus on the machines and making sure they’re where they need to be. It’s a lot of grease and heavy metal and logistics. We don't have a receptionist in a suit; you usually just walk in and find one of us at a desk covered in site reports. We just do the work and try to keep things moving.
