Piwania Technologies

Working in Okhla Industrial Estate is definitely different from a regular office park. We are at Shop No T/237 in Village Tehkhand, which is part of Phase I. It’s a busy industrial area, so there’s always the sound of trucks and machinery moving around nearby. Piwania Technologies is right in the thick of all that action. The shop is a functional space, mostly filled with tools, parts, and technical equipment we use daily. It’s not the kind of place where you’d find fancy carpets or art on the walls. We have sturdy workbenches and plenty of outlets for all the things we need to plug in. The floor is concrete and it has seen a lot of use over the years we've been here. Getting to Tehkhand can be a bit of a trek depending on the traffic, but we are used to it now. We spend our time fixing things or assembling components, and the air usually smells a bit like dust and metal. It’s a hard-working environment, and we don’t really have time for anything that isn't practical or necessary. When it rains, the sound on the roof is quite loud, which makes it hard to hear each other, but we just get on with the job. We’ve got a small kettle for making tea, and that’s about as luxury as it gets in our shop. It’s a real place for real work.
