Pediatric Clinic

Our clinic is located at 39/6 in East Punjabi Bagh, which is a fairly quiet part of this neighborhood compared to the main market area. Since we mostly see children, the atmosphere is rarely ever silent. There’s usually a baby crying or a toddler playing with the few plastic toys we keep in the corner. We try to keep the place looking friendly, but kids are messy, so there are often fingerprints on the low windows and maybe some spilled water on the floor. The parents always look a bit tired, which we understand. We spend our days measuring heights, checking weights, and giving out shots that nobody is very happy about receiving. The office isn’t huge, but it’s enough for what we do. We’ve got a routine down, though it often gets interrupted when a walk-in comes in with a high fever or a bad scrape from the playground. The heat in Delhi can be tough, so our AC is always running, even if it makes a bit of a rattling noise. We know the local families well, and we’ve seen siblings come through here one after another. It’s a very local, neighborhood sort of place. We don’t bother with big signs or lots of advertising; people just know we’re here on this street when they need someone to look at their kids and tell them everything will be okay.
