Mother & Child Care Clinic

The Mother & Child Care Clinic is over at B-1/275 in Janakpuri. It is a bit easier to find if you look for Modern Era Convent School or the Jeevan Petrol Pump, since we are right behind it. Being in Delhi 110058, we get a lot of local families coming through. It is a place mainly for moms and their little ones, so it can get a bit noisy with kids running around or crying sometimes. We just take it in stride. The clinic is not very big, but it serves the purpose for the people in this part of Janakpuri. We have been here long enough that most of the local rickshaw drivers know exactly where to drop people off. The petrol pump is a good landmark for anyone coming from the main road. Inside, things are kept pretty simple. We have a few chairs and some charts on the wall. It is not a fancy medical center with glass walls, just a regular clinic where we work. We spend our days checking on the kids and talking to parents about basic health stuff. It gets busy in the mornings when the school nearby is starting or letting out. We just try to keep things organized as best as we can. It is a neighborhood spot where we see the same families year after year, which makes the work feel more personal for us. We just keep doing what we do every day.
