Old Scrap Dealer

In Najafgarh, we run this scrap yard where everything comes to end up. It’s not the prettiest place to look at, just piles of iron, old pipes, and stacks of newspapers. We spend our time weighing things and sorting through what people bring us. Some people bring in old copper wires, and others have huge pieces of rusted machinery. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know how to tell different metals apart. Sometimes people try to bargain hard, and we just have to tell them what the market price is. It’s an honest way to make a living. We’ve been in Najafgarh for years and people know to come to us when they are cleaning out their houses or factories. It’s just about managing the piles and keeping the scales balanced and watching the trucks go by on the main road.
