Nirankar Metal Engineering Works

The shop is right on the Mayapuri Industrial Area Phase II Main Road at D-66. Being on the main road means there is never a quiet moment with all the trucks and rickshaws constantly rattling past our front door. Nirankar Metal Engineering Works has been operating out of this same spot for quite a while now. We mostly deal with metal bending and various engineering jobs that people bring in from the street. It is a dusty place because of all the traffic outside, and we are always wiping down the benches just to find them covered again an hour later. There are a few of us here who handle the welding and the lathes. We do not have any fancy office or anything like that, just a small desk in the corner covered in old bills and spare bolts. If you walk into D-66, you will probably see us hunched over a piece of iron or drinking tea from glass cups while we wait for a machine to finish its cycle. The lighting is a bit dim towards the back, but we know where every tool is kept by heart. Work starts early and usually finishes well after the sun has gone down and the street lights come on. It is honest work and it keeps us busy enough. We don't really bother with much else besides getting the orders done on time. The main road is always a mess of noise, but inside the shop, we just focus on the metal.
