Indrani Die Casting

We run Indrani Die Casting out of our unit in Mayapuri Industrial Area, Phase-II. The address is A-12, in case you’re looking for the gate. It’s an industrial spot, so it’s not exactly pretty. There’s always the sound of machines running and the smell of hot metal. We do mostly zinc and aluminum die casting here. It’s hot work, especially in the summer months when the furnaces are going full tilt. We have a small team of guys who have been with us for a long time. They know the machines better than I do sometimes. We don't have a big office or anything; just a desk in the corner where we keep the paperwork and the phone. Most of our work comes from other factories needing specific parts for their products. We try to keep the quality decent, though sometimes the molds give us trouble and we have to start over. That’s just part of the job. It’s a busy place, and there’s always grease on the floor no matter how much we sweep. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just call us or drop by the unit to discuss what they need. We’ve been in Mayapuri for years and we know the rhythms of the place. It’s not a glamorous life, but it’s what we do and we’re proud of the parts we make for our regular clients.
