Mata Chanay Devi Hospital

We’ve been running this hospital here in Janakpuri for quite a while now. It’s a busy place, and the streets around us are always full of people and cars. We aren't some fancy corporate chain with a glass lobby and expensive art on the walls. It’s just a regular building where we do our best to help the neighbors. Most of the staff has been here for years, so we know the people who walk through the door. Sometimes the waiting room gets a bit crowded, and the fans might be a bit loud, but that’s just how it is on a typical Tuesday afternoon. Our doctors stay late, and the nurses are always on their feet. Janakpuri is a big area, and word of mouth is how most people find us. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. We just focus on the patients. The rooms are plain and practical because we spend our money on medical supplies instead of decorations. It’s a lot of hard work, and sometimes it gets stressful when many people show up at once. But we like being part of this community. We see everything from small cuts to more serious stuff that needs a lot of attention. It’s a straightforward job, and we just show up every day to get it done without any fuss. It’s not always perfect, but it is honest work in a place we care about.
