If you look for Metro Pillar 749 in Uttam Nagar, you’ll find us right across from it. We are located at A 50 in Gulab Bagh, which is quite close to the Nawada Metro Station. Mahalaxmi Traders is where we spend most of our waking hours, dealing with whatever the day brings. The area around here is always moving, with the metro overhead and people rushing to catch their trains. Our shop is a bit of a hub for folks who live nearby and need things for their homes or businesses. We aren't doing anything flashy here, just selling what’s needed and keeping track of the inventory. The street outside can get quite dusty, especially with all the construction that goes on in Delhi, so we spend a fair bit of time dusting off the shelves. It’s a straightforward setup. One of us is usually by the door and another is in the back checking the stock. We don’t use big words or fancy talk, we just tell people what we have and what it costs. It's a family-run kind of vibe, where we know some of the regulars by their names. The metro pillar is the best landmark because otherwise, all these streets in Gulab Bagh start looking the same after a while. We keep the doors open and just get on with the business of the day. There is usually a bit of tea being shared if you catch us at the right time.
