We’ve been set up here at A-76, Shankar Garden in New Delhi for a while now. If you know the area, it’s usually pretty busy, especially with all the cars moving through the 110018 zip code. Our office at Lafarge India isn't anything fancy. It’s just a place where we handle the paperwork and make sure the cement supplies are getting where they need to go. Some days the phones don't stop ringing and other days it's just us sitting around the desks trying to get the logs organized. We deal with a lot of local builders and contractors who come by to check on their orders. The parking can be a bit of a headache sometimes, but we make it work. Most of us have been working in this part of Delhi for years, so we’re used to the noise and the heat. It’s just honest work, getting the building materials sorted for the construction projects happening around town. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. It’s mostly just desks, a few chairs, and stacks of files that seem to never end. Sometimes the tea stall down the road is the highlight of our afternoon. We just focus on keeping things moving. It gets dusty, but that’s just how it is when you’re in the construction business. We’re usually here early in the morning before the sun gets too high.
