Our office is tucked away inside the Krishi Apartments, which is located in the D Block of Vikas Puri. Since it is an apartment complex, the whole place feels more like a home than a traditional corporate office. We are in unit 764, and it can be a bit of a maze to find the right door if you have never visited us before. We have desks set up in what used to be the main living room and one of the smaller bedrooms. It gets a bit cramped when every single person is in at the same time, but we managed to make it work for us. New Delhi can be incredibly loud and dusty, but once you are inside the apartment gates, it is relatively calm. We can often hear the kids playing in the small park outside during the late afternoons. Magic Software Pvt Ltd is basically just a group of us sitting around our computers for most of the day. We have a small balcony where we keep some spare cardboard boxes and a couple of old chairs that have gathered a bit of dust. The light in the hallway flickers every now and then, and we keep meaning to tell the building caretaker about it. We usually bring our own lunch from home or grab something quick from the small shops located near the main gate. It is a very local way to work.
