Madaan Handloom House

Madaan Handloom House is located at 294 in Tihar Village. We are quite close to Ashok Nagar and sit right opposite the Shanker Bhawan Murti in Z Block of Anand Parbat. This area is a mix of people living here and small shops everywhere. Our place is filled with all kinds of handloom fabrics and cloth rolls. It is a bit of a squeeze to walk around because we have so much stock piled up. The walls are mostly hidden by the shelves we have built over the years. It is a simple shop with a concrete floor and some bright lights so we can see the colors of the fabric properly. The street outside is usually busy with people and the occasional cow wandering by. We have been in Anand Parbat for a long time, so we know all the regulars. Sometimes we sit on a stool outside the front door when it is quiet and watch the people going to Shanker Bhawan. We don't have a computer system or anything modern like that. We do everything by hand and keep our notes in a thick book. It is a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. The smell of the cloth and the sound of the neighborhood are just part of our daily life. We are just a local handloom house doing what we know best in our corner of Tihar Village.
