Kukreja Hospital

This branch of our hospital is also in Vishal Enclave at C-1, but most people recognize it because it’s so close to the ICICI Bank in Rajouri Garden. Being near the bank means there is always people walking by, and we get quite a bit of foot traffic. The entrance is usually busy with people coming in for checkups or visiting their relatives. Inside, it’s a functional space. We don’t spend money on interior decorators; the walls are a simple off-white and we have basic furniture. The doctors have their little cabins where they sit with their stethoscopes and pads. It is a lot of routine work. We start early in the morning, checking the charts and making sure the supplies are stocked up. The night shift usually looks a bit tired by the time the sun comes up. We have a small pharmacy area that always has a bit of a queue. It’s just the way it is in a busy part of Delhi. You might hear the traffic from the main road if the windows are open, but we usually keep them shut to keep the dust out. The staff is quite local, so they know all the best places to grab a quick lunch nearby. We aren’t trying to be anything other than a neighborhood hospital where people can come when they aren’t feeling well. It is honest work, and we just take it one patient at a time without any fuss.
