E-211 in Krishan Vihar is where we do everything. It’s not a very big place, but it works for what we need. Keshav New Tech Machines P.Ltd started out small and honestly, it still feels that way most days. The street outside is always crowded with bikes and people walking to the market, so getting parts delivered can be a bit of a headache sometimes. We have a couple of machines that take up most of the floor space. The guys usually get in around nine and we start by checking what needs to be fixed or finished from the day before. It gets pretty loud once the motors start humming. I spend most of my time at the small desk near the door trying to keep the papers organized, but they always seem to pile up anyway. We have a small kettle for making tea in the afternoons. Sometimes neighbors from the other shops pop in just to chat or ask for a tool. It's that kind of neighborhood where everyone knows what you're doing. We don't have a big sign or anything fancy, just the address on the door. The winters here are cold, so we keep the shutters halfway down to stay warm. We just focus on the machines and try to make sure everything runs the way it’s supposed to. It’s hard work, but it’s what we know how to do.
