Kalair Engineering Co.

Kalair Engineering Co. is located at Rz-95, down in Street No. 4 of Ravi Nagar Extn. It’s right here in the Vishnu Garden area. We’ve got a workshop that’s usually pretty loud because of the machines running. It’s not the cleanest place, but that’s engineering for you. There is grease and metal scraps around, and we are usually in our work clothes all day. We deal with various mechanical parts and repairs. People around Vishnu Garden know us for being reliable when something breaks down. It’s a family-run sort of thing, started years ago. We don't have a fancy front office or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably find one of us under a machine or welding something in the back. The street can be narrow, so parking a big truck is always a bit of a challenge. We’ve just learned to deal with the space we have. It’s hard work, and the summers in this workshop get incredibly hot. We keep the big fans going, but it only does so much. Still, we like the work. There is a certain satisfaction in fixing something that was completely stuck. We just take the jobs as they come and try to get them done right so we don't have to do them twice. It is a noisy place, but it is our place and we like it.
