Janki Das Kapur Hospital

Janki Das Kapur Hospital is located on Naraina Road. It’s a very busy stretch of road, so there is always a lot of movement outside our front doors. We’ve been here for quite some time now and the building has become a bit of a landmark for people in the Naraina area. It’s a large place with several floors, and we spend most of our day walking up and down those stairs. We don’t have one of those fancy modern lobbies with waterfalls or soft music. It’s a hospital, so it smells like disinfectant and sounds like people talking. The nurses are usually busy at their stations and the doctors move quickly between rooms. We get a lot of workers from the nearby industries coming in, along with families who live in the surrounding streets. Sometimes things get a bit disorganized when it's really busy, but we always manage to get everyone seen eventually. We keep our records in big cupboards and try to keep things moving as fast as we can. It’s hard work and the shifts are long, especially at night when the road finally gets quiet. We don’t have a big corporate office telling us what to do every day. We just follow the routine that has worked for us over the years. People know us as the place on Naraina Road where they can get help without a lot of complications.
