You can find us on the first floor of B-2, right on Street No-8 in Krishna Park Extension. It’s a typical New Delhi neighborhood with lots of narrow streets and people moving about. Hcl Infosystem Ltd is the name on the door, but inside, we're just a group of people who know our way around a computer. The office is on the first floor, so we don't have to climb too many stairs. It’s a bit cramped because we have a lot of hardware lying around. There are wires and boxes in most of the corners. We aren't really concerned with making the place look like a showroom. We’re here to work on systems and make sure everything is running right. The street outside is always noisy with hawkers and traffic, but we’ve got our own rhythm inside. We drink a lot of tea while we look at screens. Sometimes the work is frustrating when a system won't cooperate, but we usually figure it out eventually. We don't have any big corporate slogans on the walls. We just have a list of things to do and we check them off one by one. It's a very practical environment. We know each other well and don't stand on ceremony. If someone needs help with a heavy box or a tough technical problem, someone else just jumps in. It’s an honest way to spend the day at the office.
