Happy Mechanical Works

Happy Mechanical Works is based at N. W. - 114 in Vishnu Garden, New Delhi. This area is a bit of a maze if you aren't familiar with the streets. Our workshop is a modest place where we’ve spent many years working on various mechanical parts. It’s the kind of shop where the door is usually open and you can hear the radio playing over the sound of the drills. We don't have any fancy signs or a big lobby. When you walk in, you're right there in the middle of the work. There’s usually a pile of scrap metal in one corner and a workbench covered in tools in the other. We handle a lot of small-scale machining and repair jobs for local businesses and individuals. Most of our work comes from people nearby who know us by name. We don't use much technology for the business side of things; we still write things down in a ledger most of the time. It’s simpler that way. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit, but the way we work hasn't changed much. We just take the jobs as they come and try to do a solid job on each one. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and getting your hands dirty, but it’s what we know. We’re just a small part of Vishnu Garden, keeping the machines running and trying to make sure everything works correctly.
