H I M Instruments Works is situated in Baljeet Nagar at Punjab Basti T-95. Our workshop is on a bit of a slope, which is common for this part of the city. We focus on making and repairing instruments, which is a quiet kind of work compared to the noisy streets outside. The shop is filled with various tools, some of which are quite old but still work better than the new ones. There are bits of metal and glass on the workbenches, and we usually have a few projects going on at the same time. Baljeet Nagar is a residential and industrial mix, so you have kids playing outside while we are trying to calibrate a piece of equipment. It is not a shiny laboratory; it is a real workshop where things get repaired and built by hand. We do not have a fancy reception area. If you come by, you will likely find us hunched over a desk with a magnifying glass or a soldering iron. Sometimes the light in the workshop is not the best, so we have to move closer to the door to see what we are doing. We do not do much advertising because our work usually speaks for itself among the people who need these kinds of instruments. It is a slow and steady process, and we take our time to make sure things are done right before they leave T-95.
