Drive Engineering

We are over at B-18 in Shyam Nagar. Drive Engineering isn't a massive factory, just a decent-sized workshop where we handle mechanical parts. Most of our days are spent looking at blueprints or taking apart gears to see why they aren't turning right. Shyam Nagar is a pretty convenient spot for us. The neighbors are alright, mostly other small businesses. Inside, the place is a bit cluttered. We have shelves full of bolts, specialized tools, and old parts we keep just in case we need them later. My desk is usually covered in oily fingerprints and some loose change. We don't have a marketing person or anything like that. We just do the repairs and the fabrication that people ask for. It gets pretty loud when the heavy machines are running, so we usually have to shout to hear each other. We take our breaks outside when the sun isn't too sharp. It’s a simple setup. We’ve got a couple of guys who have been here since the start. We know our machines inside out. Sometimes things break and we have to get creative to fix them, which is the part I actually like. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, day in and day out, without any fuss. The floor is concrete and the walls are plain, but it's where we get the work done.
