You can find Divine Speech & Hearing Clinic over in Paschim Vihar. We are on the first floor, at 1/2 Sunder Vihar, right across from the McDonald's. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you know that landmark. Being on the first floor means there are a few stairs to climb, which is something we always tell people before they come over. Inside, the clinic is fairly quiet because of the type of work we do. We help folks who are having trouble hearing or kids who are struggling with their words. It can be a slow process, and we see the same faces every week for a long time. You get to know people pretty well that way. We hear about their schools, their jobs, and their families while we work on their speech or check their hearing aids. The room is filled with different charts and some testing equipment that looks a bit old-fashioned but works just fine. Paschim Vihar is a busy place, but once you step inside, it feels a bit more slowed down. We don't use any complicated medical jargon if we can help it. We just talk like regular people. Sometimes the machines act up or the coffee runs out, but we just keep going. It’s a small team here, just us trying to make sense of things for our neighbors who need a bit of extra help with their communication.
