I have been setting things up here at F-464 in Vikas Puri for a while now. This part of New Delhi always has something going on right outside the window. It is not a fancy office or anything like that, just a regular place where I get my work done day in and day out. Sometimes the traffic on the main road gets quite loud, but you get used to it after a few weeks. People often ask where exactly we are because the numbering in Vikas Puri can be a bit confusing if you aren't from around here. We just tell them to look for the F block and keep going until they see our door. It is a simple setup. There is a desk, some chairs, and usually a lot of papers scattered around because I am not the best at filing things away immediately. My neighbors are nice enough, and we mostly just wave when we see each other in the mornings. I like being in this part of town because everything you need is just a short walk away. Whether it is getting some tea or picking up some supplies, I don't have to go far. It feels like a real community here, not just a bunch of buildings. I try to keep things moving along, even when the power goes out or the internet acts up, which happens more than I would like. It is just how it is living and working in this corner of Delhi.
