You can find Das Infosystems Private Limited over in Shiv Nagar, Janak Puri. We took the first floor at Wz-423 a few years back. It’s a decent spot, away from the really heavy traffic of the main roads but still close enough to everything we need. We started out as just a couple of friends who wanted to build an info-systems company that didn't feel like a factory. Now there are a few more of us, but the feel is the same. The office has big windows, so we get some decent light, which helps when you’re staring at code all day. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Delhi. We just want to do good work for the people who hire us. Sometimes we handle data, sometimes it's web stuff, it just depends on what the day brings. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so it’s a bit calmer than the industrial zones. You’ll often find us taking a break downstairs at the local shop. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches about our goals. We just do the work. It’s a honest living. The desks are usually covered in notebooks and half-eaten snacks. It might not look like a corporate headquarters, but it’s where the actual work happens. We like the independence of being a smaller outfit. It lets us focus on the tasks at hand without too many distractions or useless paperwork.
