We’re located over in Vikas Puri, specifically at A-69 in the Ordnance Apartment complex. It’s in H-Block, which is a fairly well-known part of the New Delhi 110018 area. Being in a residential apartment setup like this means our daily routine is a bit different than if we were in a big commercial tower. We know the neighbors, and we see the same people every morning. At Computer Sciences Corporation, we mostly focus on technical stuff and sorting out data or software issues that come our way. It’s a lot of sitting in front of monitors and trying to figure out why things aren’t running the way they should. The office is functional. We’ve got our chairs, our cables everywhere, and probably too many empty tea cups by the end of the shift. Vikas Puri is a nice place to be based out of because everything you need is just a short walk away. We don’t put on a big show here. It’s just honest work. Sometimes the printer jams or we run out of milk for the chai, and that’s about as dramatic as it gets. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and we’ve gotten used to the way the light hits the rooms in the afternoon. It’s a decent place to work, and we just keep our heads down and get the job finished. No one here is trying to be fancy; we just want things to work right.
