Our office is located in Flat-C, right near the Patel Nagar Metro Station in South Patel Nagar. Being so close to the metro makes it really easy for the staff to get in every day, though the area is always crowded with people. It’s a standard residential flat that we’ve converted into a workspace. It has that lived-in feel, with mismatched chairs and piles of folders on the kitchen counter which we now use for storage. We work as a group handling different business interests, and it can get a bit loud when everyone is on the phone at once. Because we are in a residential building, we try to keep things relatively quiet so we don’t bother the people living in the other flats. We don't have a big sign outside or anything like that. People who need to find us usually just call and we tell them which doorbell to ring. It’s a very informal way to run a business, but it suits our style. We take our breaks by walking down to the main market area to get some fresh air or a snack from the street vendors. There is no corporate ladder here or complicated HR rules. We just work together to get the day's tasks finished. It is a simple, practical setup that keeps our overhead low and lets us focus on the actual work instead of appearances. That’s just how we operate here.
