Ashoka Technologies

Ashoka Technologies is based out of 15 A in the Mayapuri Industrial Area, Phase I. Being in Phase 1 means there is always a lot of movement around us. Trucks coming in, people moving crates, that kind of thing. We’ve been operating from this unit for quite a while. It’s an industrial space, so don't expect anything shiny. We have our equipment set up and we spend most of our time getting through the daily list of tasks. Technology is a broad word, but for us, it’s about the specific parts and systems we put together here. We’ve seen the area change over the years, more shops opening up, more traffic on the roads. It gets crowded, but that’s just Mayapuri for you. Our team is small. We mostly just keep to ourselves and focus on the work on the benches. We don’t do a lot of talking or meetings. Most of the day is just the sound of tools and the smell of oil or metal. If you’re looking for us, look for the big blue door. We stay busy through the week, sometimes even on weekends if there’s a lot to catch up on. It’s hard work, but we’ve been doing it so long it just feels normal now. We don't have a receptionist or anything, usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. We aren't trying to be anything we're not, just a working shop in a busy industrial hub.
