Ashapura Volclay Limited

We’re up on the third floor of the Gagandeep Building, suite 302, in Rajendra Place. It’s a busy part of Delhi and getting here can be a real headache with the traffic and the crowds. Once you’re inside the building, things settle down a bit, though the noise from the street still filters up. Ashapura Volclay Limited is where we spend our ten-hour days. The office is filled with desks and a lot of paper. We aren't the type to have a sleek, modern look. It’s a working office with coffee stains on the coasters and piles of documents waiting to be filed. We handle a lot of logistics and coordination from here. It takes a lot of phone calls and emails to keep everything moving. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. It’s mostly just us answering phones and making sure things are on track. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles in the summer heat, but we just keep going. We know the tea seller downstairs and the security guards by name. It’s that kind of place. We don’t really do formal stuff. If someone has a problem, we just huddle up and try to fix it. It’s not always pretty, and sometimes we make mistakes, but we always try to set things right. It’s just a bunch of regular people working hard in a busy city building.
