Our office is up on the twelfth floor of Padma Tower-I in Rajendra Place. Being that high up gives us a bit of a view of the surrounding buildings, which is nice when you need a moment to look away from your monitor. Rajendra Place is a busy commercial hub, so there are always people milling about downstairs and a lot of offices packed into this area. We have two units, 1203 and 1204, which we’ve joined together to make enough space for everyone. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes with all the desks and cabinets we’ve squeezed in over the years. We’ve got a lot of technology lying around. We aren't really into the whole minimalist office design. Our place looks like people actually work in it. There are stacks of papers, half-empty coffee mugs, and plenty of tangled wires under the desks. The team here at Ascomp Technologies is a hardworking group. We don’t spend a lot of time on corporate speeches or long-winded meetings. Usually, we just talk to each other over the partitions or grab someone in the hallway if there’s a problem that needs fixing. It’s a practical, down-to-earth environment. We’ve been here for a while now, and the office has a bit of a lived-in feel to it. It’s just where we come to do our jobs every day. We don’t try to make it sound more glamorous than it is, because it really isn't.
