Living and working in Najafgarh Dharampura Colony G 4 has its ups and downs. The colony is usually pretty loud during the day with kids playing and people moving about. I've set up my space here so I don't have to travel far. It's just a regular house really, nothing that looks like a corporate office. I spend a lot of my time just sitting at the table going over what needs to be done. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, but that's just how it is around here. I started this because I wanted to stay close to home. Most people who come by are from around the neighborhood. They know me as Anand, and they know where to find me if I'm not out running errands. My routine is pretty basic. I wake up, have some tea, and then start looking at the work. I don't use any fancy software or anything. It’s mostly just notebooks and a few files I keep in a drawer. The room is a bit small, and sometimes it gets quite hot in the summer months. But it’s my space and it serves the purpose. I don't really think about making it look perfect for visitors. If someone comes over, they just pull up a chair and we talk. It’s practical and it keeps the bills paid. That's really all there is to it.
