You can find our clinic at Shop Number 42 in the B-1 DDA Market over in Paschim Vihar. The DDA markets are pretty much the soul of these neighborhoods in Delhi. They have everything from grocery stores to tailors, and we are right in the mix of all that. Our shop is a bit small, but it’s enough for what we do. We have the homeopathy side and the physiotherapy side set up. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have a few people waiting, but everyone is usually pretty patient about it. The market gets very busy in the evenings when people come home from work. You can hear the vendors calling out their prices and the sound of cars looking for parking spots. We like being in the market because it feels very grounded. We know the guy who runs the pharmacy nearby and the person at the tea stall. Most of our visitors are locals from the Paschim Vihar blocks. They walk over or take a short rickshaw ride. The floor in the clinic is just plain tile, and we have some basic mats and equipment for the therapy sessions. It isn’t a high-end spa or anything. It’s a place where people come to get better. We just open the shutters in the morning, sweep the floor, and get to work helping the people who come through the door. Paschim Vihar is a large area, but the B-1 market feels like its own little village. It feels honest and straightforward.
