Alen Computers

Working out of Sant Nagar in East of Kailash means things are always pretty active around us. At Alen Computers, we are based at number 225 and it’s a standard sort of setup for a computer place. We have boxes of parts stacked up in the corners and the smell of solder sometimes hangs in the air if we’ve been busy with repairs that day. It’s not a corporate showroom or anything like that. It is more of a workshop where things actually happen and get fixed. The street outside is narrow, so parking is always a headache for anyone coming by, but we have managed to make it work. Most of our neighbors are small businesses too, so there is a nice local feel to the whole block. Inside, the lights are bright so we can see the tiny screws and motherboards we deal with. We don’t have a fancy receptionist or a waiting lounge with magazines. If someone comes in, they just talk to whoever isn't holding a screwdriver or looking at a screen at that moment. We’ve been at this spot for a bit, and the walls are covered with some old posters and calendars. It gets a bit hot in the summer months, but the AC does its best to keep the machines from overheating. We just focus on getting the computers back in working order for people who need them.
