We have been operating out of Plot No. W.-72 A for quite a few years now. Vishnu Garden is a busy place, and our shop is right in the middle of it. When we open the heavy shutters in the morning, the dust from the street usually drifts in before we even turn on the lights. Aaron Gears is basically just a collection of old machines and a few workbenches that have seen better days. There is always a smell of cutting oil and cold metal hanging in the air. We spend most of our time standing over the lathes, making sure the teeth on the gears are coming out right. It is not quiet work. The neighbors probably don't love the noise, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We take our tea breaks sitting on plastic stools near the entrance, watching the scooters zip past on the narrow road. Sometimes a customer comes in with a broken part from an old tractor or a piece of factory equipment, and we see what we can do to replicate it. It is mostly just grease and manual labor here. We don't have a front office or anyone to answer the phones, so if the machines are running, we might not hear you knock. We just keep our heads down and get through the pile of work on the floor. It is a simple life for us.
