Working out of Mayapuri Industrial Area Phase 1, specifically at B-142, is quite an experience. A S D Technologies Pvt Ltd is based here among all the factories and warehouses. It’s a noisy area with trucks constantly moving in and out, carrying all sorts of heavy stuff. Our place is basically a big hall where we handle different tech tasks. There’s always the sound of machines or cooling fans hum in the background. The floor is concrete and can get quite cold in the winter months. We aren't the type of company that has fancy lounges or free snacks. It’s mostly desks, computers, and a lot of cables running across the floor. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks down and we just have to go to the stall around the corner. The workers from the nearby units often pass by and we nod at each other. It’s a very practical environment. We focus on the technical work and don't really worry about the decor. The walls are a plain off-white color and we have some old calendars hanging up. In the afternoons, the sun hits the windows and makes it quite warm inside, but we’re used to it. We’ve been in Mayapuri for a while now and we know how the industrial cycle works. It’s just a place where things get built or fixed with a lot of hard work every single day. We stay until the job is done and then head home.
