You’ll find us at Hno 2-80/15/2 in Velumapally, which is part of Venkatapuram Village in Duggondi Mandal. We called it Venkatapuram Annapoorna Farmer Producer Company Limited because food is what we know. We’ve been farming these parts of Warangal for generations. The office isn't much to look at, just a regular place in Velumapally where we keep our records and meet with the other farmers. We don't have a website with fancy photos or a big mission statement. We just know that when we work together, we can get better deals on things we need for the farms. Most days are spent driving between the fields and the house. We deal with the heat, the bugs, and the taxes just like everyone else. It’s a group of neighbors mostly. We trust each other because we’ve grown up together. Sometimes we argue about how things should be done, but that’s just part of being in a small village. We don't have any secret tricks or special technology. It’s just hard work and a bit of luck with the rain. We keep things simple and try to stay honest with each other about what’s working and what isn't. It’s just life in Venkatapuram, and we don't try to make it sound like anything more than it is. We just show up and do the work every single day.
