Thimmampet Chilly Farmer Producercompany Limited

Our place is located at Hno 3-6 in Thimmampet which is part of the Duggondi Mandalam area. It is a small group of us farmers who all grow chillies for a living. We wanted to have our own producer company so we could manage our own business. It is a quiet village for the most part except for when it is harvest time. Then everything gets extremely busy and loud. We have so many bags of chillies to move and lots of people coming and going all day. The building is just a simple house number in the village. We are not corporate people at all. Most of us have very rough hands from working in the soil every day of the year. We grew up right here and we know these fields better than anyone. Chillies are a huge part of life in Thimmampet. You can actually smell them in the air when they are drying out in the sun. It is a lot of hard manual labor. We do not use many machines because we prefer to do things the way we know works. We meet up at the office to talk about prices and who is taking the crop to the market. It is just a local business run by local guys. We do not have a website or anything like that. Just word of mouth and people knowing where we are. We have been doing this for a long time.
