Varalakshmi Flour Mill

The mill is located at H. No -2-35 in Suripally which is part of Chennaraopet. It is a simple place where we spend our time grinding grain into flour for the local families. The machines make a lot of noise and there is usually a fine dust of flour in the air but that is just how a mill is. We open up early because that is when people like to bring their bags of grain before they start their own chores. The house number is 2-35 and most people in Suripally know exactly where to come. It is not a big commercial operation, just a local spot for the village. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for it to come back before we can finish the grinding. We have been doing this for a long time now and we know the regulars who come by every week. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We do not have any fancy packaging or anything, just the fresh flour that people take home in their own bags. Being in Chennaraopet means we are part of a small community where everyone knows who we are. We just keep the stones turning and make sure the flour comes out the way it should. It is a loud and dusty job but it is what we do here in Suripally every day. We just stay busy with the grain.
