S.S Junior College

Our college is located on Hunter Road in the Hanamkonda area of Warangal. Hunter Road is a major stretch, so there is always a lot of activity right outside our front door. You have the 506002 postcode and we are surrounded by various shops and local businesses. The building itself has a fairly simple design. It’s been here for a good number of years and it shows in the way the walls look and how the doors sometimes stick in the rainy season. We have a central area where students tend to hang out when they aren't in their classes. It’s mostly just concrete floors and sturdy benches. We don't have any of those fancy landscaping features you might find in newer developments. The fans in the ceiling are almost always running because it gets quite warm in this part of Telangana. We have a few boards in the hallway for announcements, but they are usually covered in old tape marks from previous years. The kitchen area where we make tea is small and a bit cramped, but it serves its purpose. People arrive on their scooters or take the local buses that stop nearby. It’s a straightforward environment without any hidden extras. We just focus on getting through the day's schedule and keeping the place running as best as we can with what we have available.
